Traveling Teddy comes to @grade1class #GlobalEdTed

#GlobalEdTed. This was an awesome project. My @grade1class kids were just stoked to be involved in such a great project that combined a travelling teddy bear with the right amount of tech tools. You can read more about the awesome  Traveling Teddy Project here

I  loved how this project bridged the ‘analog’ world to the virtual. My class enjoyed writing in Teddy’s blog and making our own video, making a QR Code and putting it in Teddy’s backpack for the next group in Melbourne to find. We loved seeing Teddy’s artefacts collected from America, Saudi Arabia, India, Singapore and Taiwan. Big thanks to the creators @PanaAsavavatana  and @pep073 .

We are having a farewell party for Ted on Monday and made this rap song to send him off.
